Please arrive no later than 11:45am for the ceremony, which will begin at 12pm. There will be tea, coffee and pastries afterwards.
Evening guests to arrive at the Great Hospital from 6:30pm. Wedding cake and a light vegetarian buffet supper will be available at around 8:30pm. There will be a cash bar.
Both the chapel and the reception venue are in the centre of Norwich, within walking distance of the railway station and of each other. We are aiming to keep the environmental impact of our wedding to a minimum, so we strongly encourage you to travel by public transport if you can.
There is no general visitor parking at the venues. Parking can be arranged if needed for accessibility reasons - please let us know well in advance. Otherwise, there are pay-and-display car parks on Colegate (accessed via Golden Dog Lane), Magdalen Street and Bishopgate (St Helen's Wharf).
The nearest hotel is the Maid's Head on Tombland (doubles £170). The Marlborough Hotel on Stracey Road is more basic but is close to the station and has a couple of family rooms. Otherwise, there are a decent number of apartments close to the city centre and the usual budget chain hotels.
Children are very welcome at all parts of the day. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make sure our wedding is an enjoyable experience for them!
